Video challenge, Rabbit Stew, Hot Cocoa and more!

Happy Holidays!

We have a short week ahead of us.  The Basement will be opened regular hours (2-6pm) on Monday and Tuesday, but will then be closed for the rest of this week and all of next week.  We will reopen on January 2 with regular hours.

Until then:

MONDAY: Video challenge and rabbit stew!

TUESDAY: Come relax at the Basement, play some games and warm up with some Hot Cocoa!

We hope that everyone has a fun and eventful holiday break and we’ll see you in the new year!

Holiday Events at the Basement!

The Holiday break is fast approaching.  But before it gets here, we’ve got some exciting events happening at the Basement!

MONDAY: Improvisational Comedy Monday!  Come down, we’ll joke around, have a good time.

TUESDAY: Wii and Xbox competitions!

WEDNESDAY: Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/other Holiday Video!  Help the Basement make a Holiday Greeting Video!

THURSDAY: Rube Goldberg machine day!  We’ll be filling the Basement with Rube Goldberg machines.  Stop by to help build one.  If you have a good idea, tell us and we’ll see if we can make it.

FRIDAY: We’re going to be having a special Holiday Dinner and will hold a raffle for earphones, Capitol Kitchen gift cards and more!

Basement Bumperstickers!

Starting later this week, the Basement will be selling it’s very own bumper stickers!  This is what they’ll look like:

This will be a major Holiday fundraiser for the Basement.  Any help with selling these will be greatly appreciated and help fund exciting winter activities.

Speaking of fun and exciting activities, we have plenty planned this week.

MONDAY: Our second Improv Monday!  I think that we had some fun last time.  Stop by for the comedy.  Act it out or just watch for laughs!

TUESDAY: We will be designing signs and cans for our bumper sticker fundraiser.

WEDNESDAY:  Photo scavenger hunt.  Check Facebook or stop by the Basement to find out what the challenge will be!

THURSDAY: Art workshop with Jackie!

FRIDAY: Dinner and Montpelier Alive Artswalk!
